How To Draw A Daisy
Here I’ll show you and explain how to draw a daisy flower step-by-step. In these examples, you should draw the blue part of the image when you see blue and black lines. The blue part shows you the new lines to draw in that step, and the black part shows you the lines that you drew in the previous steps.
The first step to draw a daisy flower is to draw the center part of the flower. Make a small circle or a small oval on the paper where you want the center of the flower to appear.
The next step to draw a daisy is to add two flower petals on the left and right side of the center. These petals should be long and skinny with a rounded tip.
Next add two more petals to the top and bottom of the central circle of the flower. Now you should have four paddles on your flower, so it will look a bit like a cross or an X.
Here’s a tip to make your flower look more 3-D: make the bottom petal a little bit shorter than you made the side petals, and make the top petal even shorter. This makes it look like the one on top is a bit further away, and the bottom one is pointed towards us.
Next add four more petals, in between the petals that you already drew on the flower. Try to imagine that there is an invisible oval going around the flower and make sure that all of your petals fit inside this invisible oval.
Add some more petals behind the petals that you already drew. You don’t have to draw the entire petals just the part that would show peeking from behind petals in front.
Next, draw two slightly curved parallel lines coming down from your daisy, to make the stem.
Now add some leaves to your daisy. Daisies have leaves that are small and thin. Sometimes they have little bumps on them.
Finally, add some color to your daisy. Color the center of the flower yellow, add thin gray lines on the flower petals to show the ridges in them, and make the stem and leaves green.
